Les trulli sont des habitations de pierre sèche de la région des Pouilles, en Italie du Sud.<br>
Ce sont des exemples remarquables de la construction sans mortier, technique héritée de la préhistoire et toujours utilisée dans la région. Ces habitations rurales surmontées de toits en berceau ou coniques, sont construites avec des blocs de pierres calcaires ramassées dans les champs voisins. Les murs et la couverture en voûte sont très épais et toujours constitués d’une double paroi, intérieure et extérieure, de pierres taillées.<br>
Cette technique assure à la maison une climatisation naturelle.<br>

Les trulli que nous vendons sont constitués de deux unités, de construction identique, proches de quelques mètres mais non reliées.<br>
La première unité constitue l’habitation proprement dite dont la couverture comporte six cônes de pierres chaulées. Toujours dans son état d’origine, il comporte quatre pièces principales et leurs alcôves, qui communiquent par sept arches de type roman : un séjour-cuisine, deux chambres dont l’une, ouverte sur le séjour, comporte une cheminée à bois. Une salle de bain a été rajoutée à l’ensemble. Les sols sont pavés de dalles de pierre d’origine.<br>
L’équipement général comprend l’électricité, le branchement téléphonique, l’eau et l’assainissement.<br>
L’autre unité de bâtiments, constituée de deux trulli, est une dépendance (cave, rangement, .…), elle peut-être facilement aménageable en pièces à vivre. Elle abrite aussi un antique four à pain.<br>
<br>
Cet ensemble de bâtiments est situé en haut d’un terrain en pente douce. Il bénéficie d’un superbe panorama sur les collines et les villages environnants. Au pied de la maison, un ancien verger d’oliviers, d’amandiers et d’autres essences méditerranéennes est resté en état semi-sauvage, seulement entretenu dans le respect d’une agriculture biologique.<br>
<br>
L’hiver est coloré du vert persistant des pays du sud et du jaune intense du calendula avec ça et là le brun de quelques châtaigniers improbables. La palette est impressionniste.<br>
